When Is Bog Standard Isekai Book 6 Coming Out?
As of October 11, 2026, the only date is a store listing:
- Amazon: the Kindle page for Bog Standard Isekai: Towering reads "Book 6 of 6" and says the title "will be auto-delivered to your Kindle on August 17, 2027".
- Goodreads: the Kindle edition record gives "Published August 17th 2027 by Shadow Alley Press".
- Shadow Alley Press: its series page still lists books 1 to 5 only, and the home page shows Warbound as "Available Now".
- Audible: the series page shows 5 books and no Towering audiobook.
That pre-order date is 364 days after Warbound. The earlier gaps were 119 days (book 1 to 2), 140 days (2 to 3), 322 days (3 to 4) and 224 days (4 to 5). Pre-order dates on Kindle can be placeholders and can move in either direction, so take August 17, 2027 as the latest firm listing, not a promise.

How Many Bog Standard Isekai Books Are There?
Five out, six counting the pre-order. The sources differ only in what they count:
- Amazon: "Book N of 6" on every Kindle page, Towering included.
- Goodreads: "6 primary works • 6 total works", also counting Towering.
- Audible: "5 books in series", the five audiobooks.
- Shadow Alley Press: books 1 to 5 on the series page.
- Royal Road: the story carries the Stub status. Royal Road's help page says stubs "do not have all content available on Royal Road", for example because of Kindle Unlimited exclusivity. Its table of contents showed 77 chapters on October 11, 2026, running from "Book 1 - Chapter 1" to "Book 6 - Epilogue", with 15,360 followers.
We have not matched the Royal Road "Book 6" chapters to the Towering Kindle edition, so we do not count them as a released book.

Based on the facts above, Bog Standard Isekai is a strong pick for listeners: five books, one narrator readers single out by name, and audiobooks that come out with the ebooks. At 98 hours it is also short enough to catch up on in a few months, about the length of all four Mother of Learning audiobooks (97 hours 30 minutes). The drawback is the wait: the next book is listed for August 2027, almost a year after Warbound. If you want a series you can finish now and are fine pausing at book 5, start with Scarred on Audible.
