Nightmare Realm Summoner Book 4 Audiobook Release Date

The Nightmare Realm Summoner book 4 audiobook has no release date yet. Actus's fourth book came out on Kindle on October 7, 2026, but as of October 16, 2026 Audible lists only three audiobooks in the series, the Audible page for book 4's ASIN reads "Audiobook is not available", and Aethon's product page for book 4 shows no narrator, length or audio date. Below: what is out, how the audio has trailed the ebooks so far, and where a book 4 listing will show up first.
TL;DR: Books 1 to 3 are on Audible, read by Robb Moreira (64 hours 50 minutes in total). Book 4 has no audiobook yet; its Kindle edition is out and Aethon lists a paperback. Books 1 and 2 got audio on release day; book 3 waited 56 days. Nothing official dates book 4's audiobook as of October 16, 2026.
Key Takeaways
- No audio date for book 4: Audible, Aethon and Amazon showed no audiobook listing or pre-order for it on October 16, 2026.
- Kindle is out: Nightmare Realm Summoner 4 came out October 7, 2026, 731 pages, per Aethon and Amazon.
- Three audiobooks, one narrator: Robb Moreira reads books 1 to 3 for Aethon Audio.
- The lag grew: books 1 and 2 had same-day audio; book 3's audiobook arrived 56 days after its ebook.
- A fifth book is listed: Amazon calls book 4 "Book 4 of 5" and lists book 5 as a Kindle pre-order for April 7, 2027.
Overview
Nightmare Realm Summoner is a LitRPG series by Actus, published by Aethon Books, with audiobooks from Aethon Audio. The Audible summary for book 1 sets it up in one line: "An action-packed new LitRPG apocalypse perfect for fans of The Primal Hunter, Hell Difficulty Tutorial, and 1% Lifesteal." Then: "The System warned them. The world panicked. Alex prepared." Aethon's book 4 page calls it an "action-packed LitRPG Apocalypse series by Actus."
If those comparisons sound right for you, our Primal Hunter reading order covers the first series the blurb names, and our system apocalypse books list covers the wider setup where a game-like System arrives on Earth.
Aethon's book 1 page introduces Actus as the "bestselling author of Return of the Runebound Professor and Rise of the Living Forge". Book 4 was one of the October dates in our new LitRPG books October 2026 roundup, which already noted that Aethon showed no audiobook for it.

Nightmare Realm Summoner Books in Order
Kindle dates and page counts are from each book's Amazon Kindle page; Audible dates, lengths and ratings from each audiobook's Audible page. Ratings are as of October 12, 2026 and will move.
| # | Title | Kindle date | Pages | Audible date | Audible length | Audible rating |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Nightmare Realm Summoner | Sep 30, 2025 | 710 | Sep 30, 2025 | 26 h 22 m | 4.55 (1,764) |
| 2 | Nightmare Realm Summoner 2 | Dec 31, 2025 | 550 | Dec 31, 2025 | 16 h 10 m | 4.71 (1,171) |
| 3 | Nightmare Realm Summoner 3 | Apr 1, 2026 | 710 | May 27, 2026 | 22 h 18 m | 4.83 (771) |
| 4 | Nightmare Realm Summoner 4 | Oct 7, 2026 | 731 | not listed | ||
| 5 | Nightmare Realm Summoner 5 | Apr 7, 2027 (pre-order) |
Two small notes on the table. Aethon's own page gives book 2 as 573 pages while Amazon's Kindle page says 550; we show Amazon's figure, as we do for the other books. And book 5 now has a store date: Amazon's Kindle page, from publisher AETHON, says it "will be auto-delivered to your Kindle on April 7, 2027" (checked October 16). No audio edition is listed for it.
On Goodreads, as of October 12, 2026, book 1 averages 4.37 from 2,687 ratings, book 2 4.51 from 1,733, book 3 4.56 from 1,216 and book 4 4.63 from 100 ratings. Later books are rated mostly by readers who stayed, so treat that rise as "the readers who stay are happy", not as proof each book is better.
The Book 4 Audiobook: What We Checked
Here is the state of every place a Nightmare Realm Summoner book 4 audiobook would appear, as of October 16, 2026:
- Audible series page: "3 books in series", with 3,716 ratings across the three.
- Audible search for the series name: books 1, 2 and 3 only.
- Audible page for ASIN B0GSH58146 (book 4's Kindle and Aethon ASIN): the page title reads "Audiobook is not available".
- Aethon's book 4 page: publication date October 7, 2026, 731 pages, an ebook and a paperback price, and no "Audiobook Narrator", "Audiobook Duration" or audio date field. Aethon's site search for the series turned up no audiobook announcement either.
- Amazon Kindle page for book 4: "Book 4 of 5", published October 7, 2026, with no audio edition linked.
So there is no pre-order to place and no date to mark. The moment one exists, it should appear as a new Audible listing in the same series, and on Aethon's book 4 page as audiobook fields like the ones book 1's page carries (narrator Robb Moreira, "26 hours and 22 minutes").

How the Audio Has Trailed the Ebooks
Kindle-to-Audible gaps so far, from the dates in the table:
- Book 1: 0 days. Kindle and Audible both September 30, 2025.
- Book 2: 0 days. Both December 31, 2025.
- Book 3: 56 days. Kindle April 1, 2026; Audible May 27, 2026.
- Book 4: Kindle October 7, 2026; no audio listing nine days later.
The ebooks themselves came 92 days apart (book 1 to 2), then 91 days (2 to 3), then 189 days (3 to 4), the longest gap so far. And the audio stopped arriving on release day with book 3.
If you want a rough sense of timing, book 3's 56-day lag applied to October 7 would land in early December 2026. That is our arithmetic on one data point, not an announcement; we found no Aethon announcement of book 4's audio as of October 16, 2026. Our release calendar lists dated books from publisher and store pages.

Step-by-Step: Catching Up Before Book 4's Audio
1. Start with book 1 on Audible: 26 hours 22 minutes, Robb Moreira, Aethon Audio. It is the longest of the three audiobooks.
2. Listen to books 2 and 3 in order: 16 hours 10 minutes, then 22 hours 18 minutes. The three come to 64 hours 50 minutes. If you read instead, books 1 to 4 are 2,701 Kindle pages.
3. Decide whether to switch formats for book 4: the only way to read book 4 today is the Kindle edition or the paperback Aethon lists. If you want to stay on audio, there is nothing to pre-order yet.
4. Watch the Audible series page: a fourth title appearing there is the clearest signal. On Aethon, book 1's page shows what to look for: an "Audiobook Narrator" and an "Audiobook Duration" field.
5. Check our release calendar: it lists dated releases taken from publisher and store pages.
What Listeners Say
The audio quality is what recommenders mention first. u/TGals23, in a March 2026 r/litrpg thread from someone who had listened to 700 LitRPG audiobooks: "Nightmare Realm Summoner - same deal, great progression and worldbuilding, 2 audiobooks, audio quality is 10/10." (comment, March 19, 2026). A month earlier, in another audiobook thread, the same user wrote: "Nightmare Realm Summoner - great worldbuilding, amazing system mechanics, super high quality audio" (comment, February 19, 2026).
The waiting has been part of the conversation all year. u/Acceptable_Olive8497, in February 2026: "I also really like 1% Lifesteal and Nightmare Realm Summoner, but they only have 3/2 audiobooks respectively so far, so only pick them up if you don't mind waiting a but for more." (comment, February 25, 2026). Book 3's audio has come out since; the advice still fits book 4. And u/Salt-Park-8940: "Nightmare realm summoner is fairly new but it has been good for the first couple of books." (comment, February 19, 2026).
Tips Before You Start
- Know the lengths. Book 1 is the long one at 26 hours 22 minutes; book 2 is the shortest at 16 hours 10 minutes.
- Plan for a gap. If you finish book 3 on audio this autumn, there is no book 4 audio to move on to yet.
- Read the blurb of the book you are on only. Later blurbs give away earlier events.
- Looking for something finished on audio while you wait? Our best LitRPG audiobooks ranks the series listeners name most.
Our take
Based on the facts above, Nightmare Realm Summoner is a good series to start on audio now and a poor one to expect a quick book 4 from. Three audiobooks, one narrator, audio quality listeners praise, and 64 hours 50 minutes of listening cover a lot of autumn. But the signals for book 4 all point the same way: no Audible listing, no Aethon audio fields, no pre-order, and a book 3 lag that already broke the same-day habit of books 1 and 2. Until a listing appears, the honest answer to "when is the Nightmare Realm Summoner book 4 audiobook" is "not announced". If you cannot wait, the Kindle edition is out; for more Aethon dates, our release calendar lists the next dated books.
How we checked this
On October 12, 2026 we opened Aethon's product pages for books 1 to 4 (dates, pages, audiobook fields), the Amazon Kindle page for each of the four books (date, print length, "Book N of 5"), the Audible page for each audiobook (narrator, length, date, rating), the Audible series page, the Audible page for book 4's ASIN, and Goodreads' search results for the series (ratings and the book 5 entry). Reader comments were copied from Reddit thread data we saved on October 10, 2026, because Reddit blocks live reading from our machine. Day counts and totals are our own arithmetic. A site-agent then compared every number in this article with our source table before publication. On October 14, 2026 we opened the Audible series page, Audible search, the book 4 ASIN page, Aethon's four product pages and site search, and Amazon's book 4 page again: still no book 4 audiobook. Reddit's embed pages for the four comments still show them as quoted. On October 16 we opened the same pages again, plus Amazon's new Kindle page for book 5: still no book 4 audiobook, and book 5 is a Kindle pre-order for April 7, 2027.
